Building Surveying
When working with you in a facilities management role we are able to provide a ‘snap-shot’ of your premises condition, including large plant and equipment, the building’s life expectancy and its anticipated ongoing maintenance requirements. To achieve this, we will undertake a full building survey before transferring our findings onto a database and programme where we will prioritise the urgency of repairs and maintenance for the building. The results would then be split down further into a refined maintenance programme which will run over an agreed number of years.
Our findings will provide you with an indication as to the costs of replacement of both large plant and equipment, and the likely life span and timings for those replacements, along with an ongoing maintenance programme, which would be cyclical. This will give you a full picture of the costs associated with the upkeep and repair and ongoing maintenance of your assets.
We can also carry out dilapidation surveys of your premises to establish the condition of that premise. Carrying out an inspection of the existing condition of buildings and structures before the commencement of any development, construction or demolition works is imperative to establish an accurate understanding of the extent of the works required and to help establish if those works are feasible.
